Defying Gravity? (Will there be more?)
I just finished episode 13... and I'm so happy that it didn't stop at 12!

Someone please tell me there is good news about more, because I am definitely hooked on it! There is still a flashback type sequence that I'm patiently waiting for the show to explain to me...

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

Oh no!

I just saw this:

On October 22, 2009, TV Squad reported that the sets for Defying Gravity had been destroyed and that the series had been canceled earlier this fall.

It wasn't even Fox... I'm going to go sulk in a corner now.

Where did you find the series?

Feel free to PM me questions about Godzilla or just to chat, contact me any time with all Godzilla concerns because I really love Godzilla. When I was about 4 I had a Godzilla party and I have the 8'x4' Godzilla theater backdrop to prove it.

Okay, me? Personally? I won't say that I downloaded episodes 10 & 11 on BitTorrent because, of course, that would be illegal. But, you know, if I wasn't such a law abiding citizen? Cheesy That might be where I'd start. (I'm just saying.)

Is this something you have to watch from the beginning to get into? I've just watched episode 3 (I think) on the BBC iPlayer and didn't really get into it. There's nothing in particular that I can say put me off, it just didn't strike me as all that special. Not when we have things like SG:U on currently and a multitude of other shows availiable on DVD or downloadable.

Probably not something I'll seek out to watch, but it is a whole hell of a lot better than most of the rest of the stuff on TV nowadays.

It really helps if you start from the beginning. A lot of the show is about the characters and their history. It may be one of the reasons it didn't perform as well as it could have; there was a lot more drama than you usually see on a sci fi show. And all the flashbacks were a little distracting for the first couple episodes. But by the end of the season I really found myself hooked. The last episode left me really, really wanting more. Sad

Okay. I might give it a go from the start some time.

I saw this link on a different site, but definitely had to share it here:
How Defying Gravity would have progressed, straight from the creator

Who knows how much of the story is actually true, but it was definitely an interesting read.

This, is, EUREKA!!!

My bad, I posted that link just before I listened to the latest podcast. Oh well, those of you that didn't catch SoSF #238 can still get all the info from the link above.
